Mark Loughney is an artist and a 2023 A4J Grantee. His portrait series, Pyrrhic Defeat: A Visual Study Of Mass Incarceration, is part of the Marking Time traveling art exhibition. His paintings use colorful levity to depict the absurdities of the American criminal justice system.
